Sub rosa is a recent photographic exploration shot in Indonesia using a 35mm lens. Sub rosa documents the natural dye process at Tarum, a zero waste dye work space based outside of Ubud, Indonesia.
The imagery aims to capture the ethereal beauty of Tarum, telling a story of traditional dye methods and techniques. Each image is capturing the history of the plant and the region it is from, celebrating the cultural values of the plants origin.
